I didn’t go to the Saffron Meeting tonight, because I had to work at Charleston’s Dress Store, wrapping Christmas Presents. The Club discussed Sunday’s Mother Daughter Breakfast and they were unset because $15.00 was spent on flowers. They owe Mom $10.00. Plus, they were mad because my Mom got the Hall from the American Legion and didn’t tell our Sponsors, the Lions Club. I don’t care, I’m so mad, because they don’t appreciate all the work we did to make it so nice. I’m learning that people don’t want me to be a Star too long. They want to cover it all up as fast as they can until they need a favor again.
Dear Diary…I guess after being so mean to the new Pledges during Hell Week and Hell Night, it all came back to me, when the club turned on me and talked behind my back. My mom just tried to make the event as classy as possible and I killed myself on the entertainment, but, nobody appreciated it. I think I’m getting over my love affair with Saffrons. If I get a steady boyfriend next year, I’m not going to put as much energy into it anymore!
