If I don’t get this Term Paper done, I won’t graduate in June of 1965

December 16, 1964, Wednesday

Nothing happened today, just worked on the Senior Play, Home Sweet Homicide, until 9:00 at night. I’m going to school tomorrow.

December 17,1964, Thursday.

Didn’t go to school, had to do a term paper for Sociology. Got prettty much done too. Went to work at Charleston’s Dress Store and wrapped Christmas Presents until 9:00, then came home and worked on the paper until 1:30 in the morning. Not going to school tomorrow, until I finish the paper, or I’ll flunk the class. I always wait until the last minure, when I know it has to be done, but usually I get it done… I Procrastinate too much!!

The only thing I like about school is Drama class and my social life.  I can’t wait to graduate next June, (Hopefully.)  I remember when the Baldwin Hills Dam broke last January, I didn’t have my term paper done and told my teacher I lost it in the Flood.  I got two extra weeks to finish it.  I hate Term Papers, but now no more excuses, I have to get this done.
