A Charming Woman is a Busy Woman…Loretta Young

December 3, 1964, Thursday

I just worked on the Senior play, Home Sweet Homicide all afternoon, then went shopping with Pearl and her Mom. When I came home Sal Romero called, he’s starting to bug me. I don’t want to go out with him, so, I really try to avoid him. The playhouse called about my audition from the Sound of Music. I didn’t call back, because I’m too busy with my school play now. I’m going into see if I can work at Charlestons dress store tomorrow, to wrap Christmas presents. I have so many things going, work, the play, school, entertainment for the Saffron Breakfast, reports…I’m going crazy! If I get sick this time, I’m ruined. I pray I never get sick again.

Saffrons rule busy-woman
As you can see, this is the busiest I’ve been all year and I don’t have time to be with a guy I’m not interested in.  I may have two jobs any minute and rehearsal as well as school and Saffrons, so you can see my time is valuable and unless it’s Byron Ferguson, don’t bother me.
