Making-out at the Drive-In and my hair didn’t get as messed up as usual.

January 25, 1964 Saturday, Bitchen night.

Went out to lunch with Lauri at Truman’s in Westwood. Howard picked me up at 7:00. Went to the Drive-in and saw Under the Yum Yum Tree. It was so funny. I just loved it. Didn’t watch the first movie, don’t even know what it was about. Howard got a little hot and heavy at times, but I stopped him. My hair didn’t get as messed up as usual. Had trouble with the windows, they kept getting all steamed up. Went to Lou’s after the show. There were 9 boys and 2 girls there. They put on a big show for me. It was so funny. Got kind of crude. After a while I was a little shocked. Howard got mad at Bryan for calling me. Went out to eat at Denny’s. Al and some other boys came in. We went to Toes, (in Playa Del Rey) and Howard showed me his house. Went home, parked across the street. He doesn’t want me to go out with any other boys. I just love him.
