Drove the T-Bird to Fosters and to the Saffron meeting. Everyone seems to think we are rich.

February 18, 1964, Tuesday, Club Night, Sad but pretty fun. Cried.

Drove to school. Took Marilyn. Was late, but snuck in. First day of Sophomore Gym. HATED IT. Did Pantomime in Drama, it wasn’t right, have to do it again tomorrow. After school had the car washed. Went to A&W. Then to Jackie’s. Picked up Donna and Linda and went home. Jacky told whole story about Sheila. She’s 4 months pregnant. She quit school. She’s going to give up the baby and marry Steve later. It hurt me so bad, because we are such close friends. When I got home Donna and Dad started bugging me and I really started crying. Howard still hasn’t called. Drove the T-Bird to Fosters and to the Saffron meeting. Everyone seems to think we are rich. Saffron’s gave mom a box of candy for letting us have Hell Night at our house. (Sheila is only sixteen, so young to have a baby.  She told me she never went to bed with Steve. I must get the story from her. I wounder if he forced her in the back of his Woody or what.)
