Andy Warhol’s Edie Sedgwick was my Party Girl Role Model in 1964

May 27, 1964, Wednesday.

Told everyone I hated Dave because he’s such a child. Pam told Donna he likes Jannie his old girlfriend again. I knew he would like her if he saw her at the Saffron party. That’s why he was so cold to me, he wanted to be with her not me. My song is “Party Girl!” I think I’m just using Byron as an excuse. I don’t think I really like him, he probably doesn’t even remember me. And all the guys are telling him I want to go out with him. I hope Dave doesn’t hate me. Even if he hurt me, I still want to be friends. Went to Patricia Stevens Modeling. It was about hair care. They don’t like how I wear my hair. Too Full.

Andy Warhol, discovered Edie Sedgwick at a party in 1964.  She became the ultimate Party Girl, the IT GIRL of the 1960s.  I was influenced by her, because I wanted to be discovered as well.  Amazing as it sounds I’m her niece, Hana-Lee Sedgwick’s Godmother.  6 degrees of separation as they say.
