SURFERS RULE! There were a lot of boys from Dewey Weber Competition Team at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium watching Surf Films.

February 26, 1964, Wednesday, Didn’t like anyone at the Surf Films. Howard didn’t call

Drove Vera and Jackie to school. Everyone was trying out for modeling except me, Dianne, Patty, Vera and Lauri. Did Pantomime in Drama. It wasn’t very good, because we didn’t practice it.  Was stoked on Bob McNight, then heard he was engaged. Was so mad!!! After school went home. Pearl, Donna and I went to Surf Films at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Pearl and I wore our “Saffron” sweatshirts. The films were Bitchen. There were a lot of boys from Dewey Weber Competition Team. A couple of them were cute. Didn’t talk to any of them. They made comments at us. Donna sat with Teri and The South Shore Surfers. Saw Steve Thompson, Bob Dunion and Jeff Hansman. Went to Fosters after.
