American Graffiti from a girls point of view… Cruising El Segundo, Playa Del Rey and Culver City looking for cute boys

August 15, 1964. Saturday. Went to five parties tonight

Didn’t do much today, got up about 1:00 pm. Mary and Granddaddy came by. I took the kids, (Billee and Preston,) out to dinner with Lauri and her sister Ronda and her little brother Neil. (I’ll never do it again!!) Tonight Dianne Block and I went to a party in El Segundo, but it was “so bad” no cute guys at all. They were married couples anyway, so we went to Toes and saw all the gang, even Jack! He looked so bitchen. I’d love to go out with him, but I know Sandy still likes him. We left and went to a couple more parties. No good! Then we went to Tito’s Tacos, Edna P. and Linda G. were there. Told them we were at a party with their boyfriends.
