First Football game of Culver City High School’s 1964 Season… Culver won Bishop 26 – 0.

September 25,1964, Friday.

Went to the first Football game of the Season with Sandy, Edna and Pearl, but didn’t feel like staying, so we went back to Pearl and watched TV until it was over. We won Bishop 26 – 0. Sandy and Edna went to the dance until 11:00, then we all went to Tiny Nailor’s.  Saw Kieth Turner and Niles, than cruised down to the Flying Jib and saw Doug. He talked to Sandy a long time. I got real sick and almost passed out. It was a headache so bad I couldn’t see. I almost didn’t make it home. Then I threw up and felt better. I guess I was sick because I ate so much after not eating all week…or sleeping either.

I was never interested in Football, just liked to cruise through the stands to see who was there and if there was nobody I cared about, I wanted to leave.  I never got into the game.
