Shopping for an Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini

May 12, 1964, Tuesday. Bitchen night. Dave was mad because I didn’t talk to him. After school Marilyn and I went to “Tops and Bottoms.” We looked at bathing suits. She looked so good in them because she’s lost so much weight. We always weighed the same, but now I’m fatter. The Saffron meeting was at my house. We talked about the Saffron party. I’m taking Dave. We went to Fosters and Dave, Jack Phil and all the other guys were there. Dave looked so cute. I looked good too. We all sat in Lew’s car and listened to records. When they left, Dave was mad because he said I paid more attention to Phil than him. But, I said “don’t be mad.”
