I was Cold as Ice if I didn’t like a guy, so he’d never ask me out again (Foreigner…Cold as Ice)

August 18, 1964, Tuesday. Went out with Rick

Took the kids to Toes. When I got thee all the guys were there. Even Howard. He’s growing a beard. Everyone was telling me that Rick liked me. I met him. He’s nothing. When I came home Doug called and begged me to go out with Rick tonight. I didn’t want to go, but Doug begged me so much I gave in. went the the Saffron meeting and Sandy Block said I shouldn’t have gone. Doug picked me up at Fostoes and we picked up Ann. I didn’t like Rick so I hardly talked to him. We went to the Drive-In and saw the end of “Lady in a Cage,” and “Seven Days in May.” He put his arm around me, but I was as cold as ice. I wouldn’t even look at him. I said I had to be home by 10:00.
