Ultra Lash Mascara is about to send our Maybelline Stock off the charts.

November 9, 1964, Tried out for a play, but I don’t think I want the part

Angie’s so two-faced! I’m so mad at her! She told everyone that Pearl and I came to the Saffron Pledge party two weird boys. She had to make fools of us, but, I don’t really care because at least I didn’t have to pay $5.00 for not having a date! It poured all day. I wore my hair in a new way and everyone loved it. I’m going to wear it this way for a while. After school I went to try out for the school Play. Think they want me to play the flirt or the actress, but I don’t think I’ll take it, because the parts are so small. Pearl, my sister Donna and I went to see Daddy at the Veterans Hospital. He looks bad!

My dad Bill Williams with his uncle and Godfather, Tom Lyle Williams, founder and owner of the Maybelline Company…  When my dad was in the Veterans Hospital, Unk Ile, (as we called him,) told my dad that he didn’t have to worry, because the Maybelline stock was going to start paying big dividends and he’d never have to work again.  Notice the 1955 pink and white Bel air Chevy Station Wagon, that will become my sister Donna’s car, on her 16th Birthday, next March… so she can carry her Surfboards to the beach.
